FRIENDLY FIRE
Cheap Trick meets the B-52's on the corner of Lou Reed and Sex Pistols, with a White Stripes/Green Day/Gary Glitter pow-wow cherry on top. Just listen to the friggin' songs!!!
Friendly Fire
The glam-tastic trio of singer/bassist Kristal Van Hart, drummer Dave-O
Brian and guitarist Stunner, take their larger-than-life personalities
both on stage and online.
"Friendly
Fire is bringing rock 'n' roll back to its roots: sex and booze...plus
the mod addition of podcasts. Their music is raw, all-out rock 'n'
roll, Cheap Trick with a punk edge and a fetish for dressing up."
--Liza Hearon, South Florida Sun-Sentinel Showtime
They also don't shy away from politics,
sporting the American flag and lyrics about Big Brother, drugs and
social "insecurity."
"While I wasn't afraid of the two guys in the band, I'm fairly certain bassist Kristal Van Hart could kick my ass." -- Dan Sweeney, City Link Magazine

Biography
With a debut CD, Left Right Uppercut, and an exhaustive South Florida touring schedule in the next few months, it's a wonder that Friendly Fire finds the time to create a jam-packed Web site.
But there are radio shows, packed with talent from local bands around the world, also available in podcasts. Van Hart answers fan's love life dilemmas, and the rest of the site is well-stocked with downloads, photos and lyrics. --Liza Hearon Mar 3, 2006 Copyright © 2006, South Florida Sun-Sentinel
Straight out of Cardiac City, FRIENDLY FIRE is a three piece, glam-tastic rock and roll sonic splinter in your ear's eye. Singing songs about peace, love, and the idiocy of life in the twenty-first century, wrapped up in bombastic guitar and a jackhammer rhythm section, the lady and the tramps of FRIENDLY FIRE are taking aim but not prisoners. Strap in, and remember to watch your back.

"Stunner and company may have their sites set on the 'Net", but Friendly Fire isn't doomed to cyberspace. The band writes some of the catchiest rock tunes this side of Paul Stanley, and it lives for the stage. Friendly Fire's shows are high-energy, high-humor, and high-fashion. You won't catch them wearing T-shirts and cargo shorts on stage.
The type of glam that Friendly Fire espouses is not the bastardized '80s version peddled by the likes of Poison or Cinderella. This is the real deal, daddy-o, '70s-style glam meets power pop that pays equal homage to the New York Dolls and early Cheap Trick. It's flashy, irreverent, catchy as hell -- and fiercely political." -- Jason Budjinski, New Times Magazine
"Well, I finally had an opportunity to see Friendly Fire in action. The FF site is ever so cool - I've downloaded about half of their mp3s and like those. (I will eventually grab them all - it's a time thing or I'd already have them all). Last night I saw them play at Club M in Hollywood. Let me tell you - they are the real thing! I don't remember enjoying a show that much in a long time. I was kind of amazed at how good the sound was as well (in a place like that). Checking out the people in the crowd, no one was sitting or standing still. Everyone was moving to the beat to one extreme or another. People were paying attention and looked like they were really getting into the music I know I was. If you get a chance, try to catch one of their shows - you won't be disappointed."
