Biography
They're always on their mark and ready for the "go," because these sons-of-bitches have taken the sacred arts of both Rock and Roll and turned them on their heels. In this fast paced world of instant pudding pop stars and individually packaged lifestyles, where is a true die-hard music fan to turn? Look no further, the answer to this and perhaps all of your intrusive questions is none other than the infamous Trapped By Mormons. You cannot prepare yourselves for the shake, rattle and roll that is TBM's lead singer and resident maniac, Todd Nolan. You will erect false idols when your ears hear the wailing gospel that is Jeff Hodapp's guitar playing. Try as you may, you cannot relax once Mark O'Toole's bass burrows deep inside your weak American minds. And lest us not forget that rhythmic thumping that comes from within our hearts and souls, for that sound is not a mere chambered organ, it is Brandon Samdahl on drums. Your parents would not approve, your preacher may pray for your salvation, and the bag boy may put your bread with the canned goods, but try as you may, there is no escape from your destiny and the fate of the Western Civilization, for that future lies in the songs of a humble little band of prophets that we all like to call, Trapped By Mormons.

Trapped by Mormons
Comments: Louder than the conservative rhetoric of Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch, Trapped by Mormons has been rattling the walls of South Florida venues for the past two years. Inspired by such decibel-raising, nitro-punk groups as The Stooges and The Hellacopters, the Mormons, according to vocalist Nolan, “have taken the sacred arts of both rock and roll and turned them on their drunken heels.” Fans of classic MTV videos might recognize bassist O’Toole from his days in the British pop act Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Drummer Samdahl has performed with Siesta Trailer Park and guitarist Hodapp formerly played with local garage-punk legends the Drug Czars and Roach Motel. Nolan, whose on-stage demeanor is as spastic as a colon, formed Trapped by Mormons in 2000 with erstwhile Pillmagnet guitarist Justin McNeal, who earlier this year quit the band and moved to San Francisco. Punish your ears Dec. 19 when the Mormons join The Holy Terrors at The Poor House in Fort Lauderdale.
