Product Return Policy
DVDs, Audio, Books
All items from Dance Music Video are returnable for a full refund (no restocking or service charges apply) within 30 days of receipt of the item, subject to the conditions below:
All returns must be pre-authorized by e-mailing service@dancemusicvideo.net to receive a Return Authorization (RA) Number. Please include your Invoice & Account number -- all products must refer to a specific invoice number.
All returns must be shipped prepaid to the Return Center (address below) with the RA number clearly marked on the outside of the box. Dance Music Video Entertainment cannot assume liability for returns lost in transit. Shipment to be returned should be insured (your choice) and you should retain the insurance receipt until credit is received from Dance Music Video Entertainment.
All returns need a packing slip enclosed which provides customer number, customer name, RA number, reason for return, and list each title, name, item number and quantity returned.
RA numbers are not reusable. Each new return must have a separate RA number. RA numbers are valid for 30 days. Products returned after 30 days are subject to refusal by Dance Music Video Entertainment.
Product must be returned in original shrink wrap intact (defective returns excluded). Product not in the original shrink-wrap will be refused. Dance Music Video Entertainment reserves the right to refuse any product that cannot be restored to fully saleable condition. Returns must be limited to titles specifically approved on the RA.
Due to Manufacturer policies, Dance Music Video Entertainment is unable to price-protect product that has been reduced in price. Credit will be issued at the purchase price or the current price, whichever is lower. Product that has been deleted from our catalog cannot be returned.
DEFECTIVE RETURNS
All defective returns will be replaced on a one-for-one basis with identical product. RAs for defective products must be issued within 30 days of receipt, otherwise product will be non-returnable.
Due to manufacturer guidelines, products that exhibit any of the following characteristics are not acceptable for return as defective:
- Not in original packaging
- Evidence of tampering
- Excessive use or abuse
- Cracked/crushed disc
Defective DVDs have normally been played once and exhibit one or more of the following.
- Loss of audio or video, i.e., dropouts, etc.
- Low noise, static, color fade, picture jumps, rolls, warping, won't start, stops for no reason, contents incomplete.
Any product rejected by the manufacturer for non-factory defects will be returned and re-billed.
